|Hout Bay Mothers|
The members of this group are drawn from Imizamo Yethu, an informal and impoverished settlement in the greater Hout Bay Valley Area in Cape Town, South Africa. The 18-hectare settlement houses approximately 20,000 people with little or no infrastructure or services. A high level of umemployment and HIV disease add to the burden of the people living in this crowded settlement.
